Non-accessible content
- The images carousel on the home page has a broken parent / child element relationship. This fails WCAG 1.3.1 Info and Relationships (A).
- Social media sharing icons do not meet contrast requirements in their keyboard focussed state. This fails WCAG 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum) (AA).
- The cookie banner does not respond well to higher magnification levels. The home page council meetings content has a small clipping issues. This fails WCAG 1.4.10 Reflow (AA).
- The home page council meetings content has a small clipping issues made worse when adjusted for text spacing requirements. This fails WCAG 1.4.12 Text Spacing (AA).
- Home page contains an auto scrolling carousel of images from around the parish that does not have any controls to pause or stop the movement. This fails WCAG 2.2.2 Pause, Stop, Hide (A).
- There are some links which do not have appropriate link text and some links which are not correctly marked up for email addresses. This fails WCAG 2.4.4 Link Purpose (In Context) (A).
- There are some focus indication issues with the contents of the burger menu at higher magnifications and three image links at the bottom of the home page. This fails WCAG 2.4.7 Focus Visible (AA).
- Users can navigate behind the cookie banner obscuring the main page. This fails WCAG 2.4.11 Focus Not Obscured (Minimum) (AA).
- Contact form error messages are not identified to screen readers. This fails WCAG 3.3.1 Error Identification (A).
- Some buttons in the navigation, elements of the home page carousel, and some A to Z service listings do not have appropriate text names, incorrect roles, or do not announce their state/purpose. This fails WCAG 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value (A).

PDFs and other documents
Some of our PDFs and Word documents are essential to providing our services. For example, we have PDFs with information on how users can access our services, and forms published as Word documents.
The accessibility regulations do not require us to fix PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018 if they're not essential to providing our services.

This statement was prepared on 19th March 2025. It was last reviewed on 23rd July 2025.
This website was last tested on 09/11/2025 against the WCAG 2.2 standard. The test was carried out by All Able Ltd.
A representative sample of pages of the website were tested along with a sample of the documents from each area of the website. Testing was composed of a mixture of manual, semi-automated and assistive technology testing.
